Hempfield Junior Varsity Black Knights defeated Central York 10-0 on Thursday thanks in part to 10 runs in the second inning. Bryce Caswell singled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, Caden Kenyon drew a walk, scoring one run, Alekai Nonthakan was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Jackson Ford singled, scoring two runs, Bryce Caswell drew a walk, scoring one run, Carter Kenyon drew a walk, scoring one run, and one run scored on a balk.
Tate Lutz opened the game for Hempfield Junior Varsity Black Knights. The hurler allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out nine and walking four. B Whitcomb led things off on the mound for Central York. The starter surrendered four hits and eight runs (three earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking four.
