Even though Hempfield Varsity Black Knights collected seven hits to Central Dauphin's six, they still fell 7-4 on Thursday. Logan Dougherty led Hempfield Varsity Black Knights with two hits.

Hempfield Varsity Black Knights were the first to get on the board in the third when one run scored on another play.

A single by Tommy Powell gave Central Dauphin the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the third.

Hempfield Varsity Black Knights captured the lead, 4-2, in the top of the fifth after Central Dauphin committed an error, Braedon Eck singled to center field, and Hempfield Varsity Black Knights scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run.

Central Dauphin flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fifth, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 7-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Evan Londono that drove in two.

Chase Shrader earned the win for Central Dauphin. The hurler gave up one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out two and walking one. Jonathan O'Maille took the loss for Hempfield Varsity Black Knights. The southpaw went four and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on three hits, striking out five and walking five. Sean Demartino stepped on the mound first for Central Dauphin. The starting pitcher allowed six hits and four runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out one and walking two.

Camden Hulock and Braedon Eck each drove in one run for Hempfield Varsity Black Knights.

Trey George, Evan Londono, Sean Demartino, Tommy Powell, Alex Shrader, and Camden Pritchard each collected one hit for Central Dauphin. Evan Londono and Tommy Powell each drove in two runs for Central Dauphin.
